Destin stays range from Gulf-front condos to beach houses and homes near the harbor. For a condo, ask your property manager whether open-flame cooking is allowed. Many condo buildings do not allow grills on balconies, so a ground-level pool deck, patio or garage is usually the better choice. For a house, a backyard, patio or driveway works well. If it rains, the chef can cook in a garage or indoors on tile floors with smaller flames.
